Kill Your Hunger: Panko Roasted Brussel Sprouts

Delicious Roasted Panko and Parmesan Brussel Sprouts

 Eating well doesn't need to take you all night to prepare.  Kill your hunger with this fast, easy, healthy, and delicious brussel sprout recipe.   Hate these bad boys?  I promise this recipe will turn you into a closet brussel sprout junkie.

Ingredients

1 lb. fresh brussel sprouts, stems removed and cut in half lengthwise1/4 cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated1/3 cup panko breadcrumbs, unseasoned, whole wheat or traditional3 tbsp. olive oilSea saltPepperGarlic powder

Method

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

  • In a large bowl, toss together brussel sprouts, olive oil, panko crumbs, and half of the parmesan cheese.  Add the salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste.

  • Spread them out on a non stick baking sheet.

  • Roast for 10-15 minutes or until the edges start to brown.  Remove from oven and toss.

  • Return to the oven and cook for another 10-15 minutes.  You know they're done when the outsides are brown and crispy and the insides are soft; check by sticking a toothpick into one.

  • Remove from oven and toss with remaining parmesan cheese.

  • Serve to happy yogis.
